MathFinder is a place-based learning app that encourages students to love math by helping them see it everywhere. In order to uncover its potential as an educational tool, a carefully calculated brand foundation, visual identity system, and website had to be developed.
Having the National Science Foundation, SMU, and talkSTEM as major partners for the development of this app, the new brand identity needs to reflect the research and academic nature of the brand. With that in mind, the brand has to appeal to three audiences: 1) Students/Parents, 2) Educators, and 3) Partners.
The work done includes messaging, logo, look-and-feel, website, and a t-shirt for the brand launch with its partners in the Dallas area.
The new brand identity was a big hit in the Dallas area with students, educators, and partners. The new MathFinder website will continue to evolve as a tool for learning and educating those who are actively involved and interested in being a part of the MathFinder community.
