Don’t Wrap Up Your Marketing Efforts During the Holidays

As the holiday season approaches, it is important that you stay on top of your marketing efforts and continue to reach out to your customers and prospective customers. An effective way to do that is to create a custom designed holiday card or greeting. Below are a few things to keep in mind when developing a holiday card or greeting:

Customize it with a personal touch
Standard cards you purchase from a retailer are not going to give a strong impression of your company. Make the design and concept appealing and relevant to your company or business and add a personal touch by writing a message on the inside of the card.

Think beyond a card
Other ideas such as a music CD, online e-card, or custom designed wrapping paper are also good ideas to replace a traditional holiday card. Consider techniques such as die-cutting or embossing to make the card unique. Also try making the card oversized or use a different shape for impact.

Share the joy
Holidays are a season of giving. Consider a donation of some kind or charitable cause on behalf of your customers. Find something you are passionate about and let your customers know you are contributing to the cause on behalf of them.

Timing is everything
Instead of a holiday card, consider a New Year card or a Chinese New Year card. The end of the year is a great time to look back at the relationships you have and to think about ways to continue to strengthen those relationhsips in the coming year.
